Happy Monday to all
Hope everyone is doing well--
We had a great weekend, I went shopping for furniture for Jeff's
new house, it is wonderful that he's officially home.
We are thankful that he will now be able to
enjoy some small things like coming over a few times a week and spending time with the girls
and also his mom. We visited his new house yesterday with the girls and they loved it!!
He will be eventually getting a dog and maybe even a trampoline( the girls are never going to want to leave his house!!!)-
But today's blog is about being thankful for what I have.
The time we spend with our friends and family, the memories we make, the fun we have in life.
I am glad that we have a place to be able to share our joys and good days with each other, and also place to be able to vent and get all that is bothering us out it helps me see that while life could always be better it also be far worse----Love to all have a good day!!!!!!

I love that my nieces are grown up and are such wise women!! Sometimes it's very hard to look at others around you and see all that they have and not be envious--happens to me alot! However, it's absolutely true that we all have so many reasons to be thankful every day. I was feeling a bit down today about not having much time to myself anymore, all the things that constantly need done at home that don't get done (our outside!!), etc. But, today I was abruptly reminded about what an absolutely great life I have! There's a family at school struggling right now. We just learned that the couple is working through "issues" and an impending messy divorce. So much so, that the mom feels "unsafe". Wow. I often wondered why her daughter (4 years old) acts like she does--now I just wonder what this poor little girl has witnessed! So, who cares about all the weeds, dandelions, dishes, laundry and dust in my house! I am loved and appreciated and that's all I need!
Becky and Melissa - you're so right. One thing I've been doing lately to put life in perspective is writing down in a journal every night 3 things that I'm thankful for from the day. It's amazing - even on my really "bad" days, I can still find 3 things. Some people can't. We're so fortunate. Sometimes I make Matt do it, too :)
