It wasn't a vacation....
- trip to a quiet resort
- filled with romantic music or dancing
- filled with 100% privacy
But it was a vacation...
- in our new home and we had time to rest after being sick
- filled with time we spent sitting on the deck watching the sunset and making smores around the campfire
- where we spent time with family and grandkids
- that we ate out a few times, by ourselves and with friends and enjoyed each moment
- where we completed projects together and held hands while walking into Home Depot
- filled with together time and that's what count in my book!

Amen to a home vacation! Sometimes those are so nice! I can honestly say that Matt and I look up to you and Dave as a coupe a lot. It's so wonderful how much you two still adore each other. Love you!
Your "vacation" sounds like heaven to me!! Looking forward to some of these things with my husband this summer. You do learn to appreciate what's really important and not just the "fun" and "extravagant" things that we sometimes get in the early years of a relationship.
We're also sneaking in a long weekend vacation at the end of June with Bill, Em and the girls--that'll be funner than any resort! :-)
