Does anyone know where the word came from? If you do I would be interested to know-
I had a crazy day today and can not wait to get home! Hope all are doing well.
FYI the girls will be at moms this weekend as I am going to help our friend Jeff
buy furniture for his new house.

Here's some useless knowledge, but you got me wondering: The term "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger in December 1997. The shorter version, "blog," was coined by Peter Merholz, who, in April or May of 1999, broke the word weblog into the phrase "we blog" in the sidebar of his weblog. This was interpreted as a short form of the noun and also as a verb, to blog, meaning "to edit one's weblog or a post to one's weblog."
So, "web log" makes sense to me--a type of journal on the web!
